Dominique Nadeau receives the Quebec Business Woman 2025 Award!
As Dominique herself says: "I wasn't destined to be a business woman! My Career plan didn't call for me to become an entrepreneur or take over Safari Condo!
Nonetheless... Dominique Nadeau received the 2025 Quebec Business Woman Award, in the Impactful Entrepreneure - Large Business category, at the 25th gala organized by the Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec (business women association of Québec), on October 30. It was an emotional moment in the St-Frédéric offices and in the homes of many colleagues, friends and family members.
The ten members of the jury recognized Dominique's impact on the company's progress since she took over the helm. She has climbed every step of the company's ladder since her arrival in 2006, from sales, where she was the only bilingual representative, to production management. It was here that she discovered a keen interest in manufacturing, logistics and industrial challenges, even though she was not destined to run a Company designing and building small B-class Motorhomes or Travel Trailers!
She holds a B.A. in English Literature from McGill University, and in 2016, an MBA from Université Laval. It was then that she became General Manager of Safari Condo, alongside her father, Daniel Nadeau. Upon the well-deserved retirement of her father she became president. Now he watches from afar with pride.
She quickly realized that she wanted to grow the Company and spread the company's expertise beyond Canada, particularly to the United States. Yet Safari Condo is proudly rooted in the Beauce, committed to the region's economic development, and receives 80% of its revenues from Canadian sales.
To meet growing demand for Safari Condo products, the Company built a third factory in 2018 and the workforce grew from 50 to 145 employees in less than 18 months. Thanks to these efforts, the Company manufactures around 90 Motorhomes and 400 Travel Trailers annually.

Dominique is also involved in a number of volunteer causes, from chairing the board of a economic development non-profit to serving on the executive committee of the Québec RV dealers association (ACVRQ).
In recent years, under Dominique's leadership, Safari Condo has innovated: a development site for Europe, CSA and NFPA-certified products (a rarity in the world of small Motorhomes and Travel Trailers manufacturers), continued commitment to sustainable development, an eco-innovation approach integrated right from the design stage of the various products, and a social commitment to the Community and its employees. Since customers are looking to connect with nature, it was obvious that Safari Condo would continue in this vein, which has been in mind since the company was founded in 1998.
Safari Condo is also the darling of its customers: the consumer magazine Protégez-vous, in collaboration with CAA-Quebec, named the Company number one in the Motorhomes and Travel Trailers categories, with a recommendation rate of 94% and 93%, which makes Dominique - and the whole team - very happy.

Dominique believes in diversity and inclusion for all. Today, can you believe that 50% of the team is made up of women? Women work in research and development, and in the electrical, plumbing and technical assembly workshops, areas traditionally reserved for men. As Safari Condo trains its workforce, the company can choose to integrate as many women as men, offering equal access to all!
With all this, it's no surprise that Dominique has been awarded this prestigious prize!
For nearly 30 years, Safari Condo has been accompanying Sunday travelers, outdoor enthusiasts and single women looking for a weekend or several-month adventure.
"I'm proud to have reconciled family heritage and innovation, building a bridge between two generations, and making room for everyone in our Company!"
