A big arrival at Safari Condo!
Safari Condo designers left A2124 and F1743 travel trailers all alone in the backyard... The result? A brand new travel trailer named A1752, born from a nice cross between these two models!
This new Alto was designed specifically to meet the needs of small cars or electric vehicles that do not have the same towing capacity. This Alto offers a better Aerodynamic drag coefficient than the A2124, and at 2,224 pounds dry weight (1,010 kg), it is also lighter. It will therefore allow for better fuel or electricity consumption by the towing vehicle. What more could you ask for?

In addition to its lightness, the Alto A1752 is very well equipped: a private toilet/shower cabinet, a 3.5 cubic foot (12-volt) electric fridge, and two standard lithium batteries. Designed for couples, it features a very large, removable bed at the rear, allowing for the installation of a dinette. Want more? The A1752 offers 130 cubic feet of storage, which is 50% more storage than the F1743 and almost as much as the A2124!

And, surprisingly for those familiar with Alto, the kitchen is located at the front of the travel trailer! And, to maximize the use of this kitchen, Safari Condo is currently testing the use of a built-in induction stove in the travel trailer prototype.

How was this beautifult Alto born? It took a little over a year of work to design the new baby of the family. First, six designs were tested in a virtual wind tunnel to measure the aerodynamics of each of these models. Although they were all promising, Safari Condo chose the second best design because it allowed for a much better interior layout. After the wind tunnel tests, it took nearly 6 months of 3D design to arrive at the final result, both for the exterior appearance and the interior layout of the trailer. Know that this is the first trailer entirely designed in 3D! Production was therefore launched from the 3D drawing. it required a pretty high level of confidence! ...
From the very beginning of the prototype's production, the team oversaw its assembly and made minimal corrections to the plans: a few centimeters less on a shelf here, moving a part a few more centimeters there. It was clear that the research and development and production teams had done their job well! The 3D drawings were subsequently useful for completing the plumbing, electricity, and interior layout.

Road tests were then carried out to establish comparisons in fuel consumption between this new model and other Alto models.
This new travel trailer will be offered with several options, even though the base model is already very well equipped: the installation of an air conditioner, solar panels, a rigid awning, two additional lithium batteries, or an inverter are among the possible additions to this new product.
This surprising trailer will be presented for the first time at the electric vehicle show in Quebec City, from October 25 to 27, 2024. You will also be able to see it at the Quebec City RV Show the following weekend, from October 31 to November 3, 2024, where you will also be able to see the entire range of Alto and Safari Condo products!
