Safari Condo is currently looking for an industrial draftsman to join our existing team working in our Saint-Frédéric plant. Reporting to the R&D Manager, the draftsman will work on various improvement and development projects
Main functions
Main functions :
- Produce drawings for all products manufactured byCompany;
- Produces drawings for products subcontracted byCompany;
- Participate in improving assembly and design for trailers and Motorhomes ;
- Analyze 2D drawings by material before programming the CNC;
- Make changes to drawings as requested by the R&D manager;
- Make a 3D model of the assembled parts with an exploded view;
- Make the BOM by assembly;
- Follow up on changes made with the various departments;
- Responsible for ensuring that the nomenclature of drawings produced complies with R&D department procedures.
Desired qualities
The skills required are:
- DEP or DEC in industrial-mechanical drawing and/or any relevant experience in the field;
- Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks (mechanical welding) and 2D AutoCad software
- Knowledge of CNC TYPE EDIT programming (asset);
- Knowledge of PDM-SolidWorks software (asset);
- Proficiency in Office suite.

- Ability to manage more than one project at a time;
- Great attention to detail;
- Autonomy;
- Team spirit;
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design (an asset);
- English (an asset).
