After several months of work, the all new Alto F1743, the first model of our fixed-roof Alto series, will be officially unveiled at the Toronto RV Show in January. This model is lighter than our retractable roof Alto, but it is constructed with the same quality materials and its fixed roof is also made without any joints. It is equipped with a large and fully enclosed shower/toilet compartment. It has large European windows with an integrated blind/screen combination system.

For 11 years, the TV show How it’s made has shown us the technology and complex work that goes into the different objects we use in our daily lives. Last February, a crew from MAJ Productions came to the Alto plant. Over nearly two days, they shot the different steps that go into the production of this small retractable roof trailer, which is completely built and designed in Québec.
The F1743 will be a new Alto model with a fixed roof. When compared to the 1723 with a retractable roof, it will cost about $5,000 less, weigh around 100lbs less, offer more storage space and include a shower/toilet cabinet. It will still be constructed with the same quality materials used on the current Alto models. It will also feature many large windows to provide the bright and spacious interior for which Safari Condo products are known.
In 2012, Safari Condo will offer a new model in its product line-up in order to meet the various needs of its clients. The Mercedes Sprinter XLT will offer a retractable bathroom which optimizes the available space. This model can therefore combine a comfortable shower/toilet with the light and spacious interior design for which Safari Condo has become so well-known.
