May 5th was a big day for Mrs. Nancy St-Arnaud and Mrs. Pascale Jacques who were our second clients to take delivery of their new Alto. In order to celebrate the occasion the sales team offered a bottle of sparkling wine to the proud new owners, who then used it to christened their Alto. It is important to emphasize that Mrs St-Arnaud and Mrs Jacques actually chose to keep their sparkling wine bottle intact and savour it this summer on one of their camping trips.
The whole team at Safari Condo wishes many wonderful trips to Mrs Nancy St-Arnaud and Mrs Pascale Jacques!
On this day Mr Clément Dionne and Ms Diane Jacques were the very first clients to take delivery of their new Alto. Exactly 10 years after the delivery of the first Safari Condo, the company was crossing another threshold in its history by delivering the very first Alto. Once again, this accomplishment is possible thanks to the trust that our clients have put in our company, and we are very grateful for it. In order to properly immortalize this event, Safari Condo's official photographer was there. Mr Dionne and Ms Jacques were given a thorough course on the features and usage of their Alto. Afterwards, they headed home where friends and family were waiting for them to celebrate all together inside their new Alto.
The whole team at Safari Condo would like to congratulate and wish a wonderful summer to Mr Clément Dionne and Ms Diane Jacques.
Come take a look later for when you can see us!
The Alto on display at the 2007 Montreal and Quebec City RV shows was a prototype. An aluminium frame supported its walls and roof. Its windows were of Plexiglas, and the back part of the bed had to be lifted into place manually. Furthermore, its paint was applied after its parts were cut and shaped. The whole project team knew that the first production Alto would be very different, if not in appearance, certainly in its structure and in the technology involved in its fabrication. The first Alto to come off the assembly line on February 15th 2008 is the result of a further year of research and development. It was a long and tedious process to select a qualified supplier for our custom-made aluminium extrusions. It was decided that Plexiglas windows were not durable enough to meet our high standards, and therefore the production-line Alto is now outfitted with tempered glass windows. Gone too is the aluminium frame, replaced by self-supporting walls and roof panels of monocoque aluminium sandwich design. The moveable part of the bed is now electrically actuated, and our alu-fibre material (aluminium plated with a fine coat of fibreglass to increase durability) comes to us from Holland, where it is painted and finished in a process more akin to fine printing than traditional painting.
